If you want to score well on the standardized tests, you need to understand
both how the test is constructed and how you can approach the questions most
efficiently. Our instructors will analyze each section and show you how to apply what
you already know to the test. Instruction in our test preparation courses consists of
content lectures, strategy presentations, practice exercises, and item-by-item analysis
of answers. Diagnostic pre-tests aregiven in the first class session. Each student's
strengths and weaknesses are evaluated to identify areas for improvement. Post-tests,
administered towards the end of the course, are used as a final measure of gain. We
take the fear out of test-taking and lower your test anxiety in a supportive environment.
Remember: There is a difference between test practice and test preparation. Test practice
is simply drill based on previous tests. Test preparation provides students with strategies
that will enable them to focus on content and not become frustrated with unfamiliar formats
and situations. These strategies will help you improve your performance on tests.
4. The most intensive courses
Our program provides you with more than 50 hours of live classroom instruction in one course. Most institutes have classes that meet only
one or two times per week; if you are serious about scoring well and
getting into top universities, you already know that once or twice a week
is not enough. Other programs may include "self-study" hours in the price
they charge you. When comparing Princeton Test-Prep with other schools, be
sure to find out how many hours of live instruction you receive, and how much
"class time" is devoted to "self-study" or practice tests that could be done
as well outside of the class.

The fact that a university has accepted you for study does not automatically give you entry into the United States. You still must obtain a visa before departure; a stamp issued and embossed on your passport by a U.S. Embassy or Consulate that acts like a "travel ticket," allowing a student to travel to the United States.
When a U.S. educational institution accepts you, it issues an 1-20 form to you (or some other certificate of eligibility), which is your key to acquiring a student visa. In this case, you must seek a visa allowing you to legally enter the U.S. for the purposes of study. With your 1-20, you can apply for a visa at a United States embassy or consulate in your country or the INS in the United States. If your application is accepted, the issuing agency will stamp a visa in your passport.
The complexities involved in securing a student visa can give you sleepless nights. What if, after securing admission and dreaming about your future, you can't get a visa! But do not worry!
